Now, with the smart phone apps, we can use Groupon even easier. We use it often at home, too. Here are a few of the things we use it for around home (which we also look forward to doing on our future trips):
Food cart waffles
Romantic night at our living room theater
Halotherapy session in the salt caves
Brunch at one of our favorite restaurants
Delicious, delicious crepes
What do you use Groupon for, or what do you look forward to finding a deal on when you go on our next trip?
We just made reservations for our first Groupon Getaway purchase. It is a 5-night stay in Chattanooga, Tennessee (a 2-night voucher paired with a 3-night voucher). We are taking our almost 3 year old daughter and a newborn in May (who will be roughly 5 weeks old). Not only was it something like half the price, but it also includes a daily $25 restaurant credit to any of the restaurants on the property (there are several of them to choose from).

That's awesome, Rachel! I find that they really are the budget traveler's best friend. Have a great time :)
DeleteWe always try to use Groupon when traveling. We found all the excursions we wanted for Honolulu through Groupon... at least at half off. When we went to South Africa the Groupons stated that you had to be a resident to use,and wouldn't let us buy, so we emailed the companies and booked it directly though them. All companies were more than happy to honor the Groupon price if we chose their company. Groupon is great for travel. :)
ReplyDeleteWe used Groupon heavily in Honolulu, too. We saved at LEAST $500 off our trip that way. I'm glad you had such good luck with companies outside of Groupon, too. That's awesome!
